These posters demonstrate how to model and identify fractions on a number line. They features apples and candy bars as concrete representations to help students visualize each fraction. Includes three versions in two different sizes.

Task Cards

Includes 8 cards with word problems involving fractions. Each card shows a number line model to assist students in solving the problem. Includes recording sheet.

Worksheet 1

Students will cut out the fractions and choose the correct placement on the number line.

Worksheet 2

Students will evaluate each number line and identify how many equal parts, the fractional name of each part, and label the fraction on the line.

Digital Activities
