Icebergs In July - Economics for children

This lesson plan was designed for students in grade 2 in order to assist in their understanding of economics concepts. Students experience the roles of producers and consumers. Concepts of supply and demand; natural, human, and capital resources; goods and services; use of barter, money, and scarcity are explored. Students can experience this unit as either a performance or Readers Theatre.
