This hilarious partner game will build relationships in any class, while still teaching crucial elements like the importance of communication, patience, and trusting others. Get to know your students and establish behavior procedures at the same time through this 6-round drawing game. This is a fantastic first day activity and will be sure to build a strong bond between you and your students.

Allow about 20 minutes for this game, which will help your students get their energy out. Only materials required are pencils and scraps of paper. Drawings will be predictably awful and lots of laughs are promised.

This lesson is great for that extra time after you have gone over your course syllabus on the first day OR on those shortened periods when you don't have time to get into your curriculum. Shortened snow days? More like Blind Artist days!

HOW TO PLAY:
Students partner up and work together to draw simple images. One partner draws but has to close his/her eyes, and the other partner guides them through the activity verbally. Partners change every two round (with each student playing each role), and the game includes 6 rounds total.

LESSON INCLUDES:
