    Description

    This bundle allows the student to focus on phonemes to build CVC words. It is ideal for use at a learning center or for Morning Bins. An Earth Day theme is used.

    Each vowel resource includes five sets of cards:

    • All letters provided
    • Missing beginning sound
    • Missing ending sound
    • Missing beginning and ending sounds
    • Missing all letters

    The variable vowels resource includes five sets of cards with the missing middle sound (121 words total).

    Select the card set(s) you wish to have your students practice. You can also mix and match the cards. Laminate, cut out and place into a container at a learning center. The students will select a card and complete the word using manipulatives such as magnetic letters, letter tiles or bottle caps. A dry erase marker may also be used.

    An optional recording sheet is also provided for accountability. The child may read the words to the teacher or a friend when the page is complete.
