Description

Teach your students the important life skill of hygiene life skills through file folder activities. Use these sequencing file folders as a way to reinforce every day, good hygiene. Practice these skills in one-on-one instruction and independent station or center work.

In order for our students to become socially responsible and aware, they need to have an understanding of the basis of completing a hygiene related activity. Each file folder has a one page mini social story and a correlated sequencing work page with numbered boxes.

The file folders are assembled so the student can use the social story on one side of the file folder as a guide to complete the sequencing activity. The sequencing steps include the six most important steps from the social story. The social stories and completed sequencing steps can also be used throughout the student’s environment as a visual reminder.
