Description
The first lesson introduce students to the role that NGOs can play in advancing and protecting human rights. It introduces them to the work of Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.
The second lesson looks specifically at how two NGOs (RAICES and the ACLU) responded to Trump's 2018 Family Separation Policy.
