Why spend hours creating presentations, handouts, assignments, and quizzes? This bundle provides all of that, plus more! Here's what's included in this FOUR-FIVE WEEK unit:

    SIX FLIPCHARTS

    • Introduction to the Human Body - focuses on the levels of organization in the human body (cells build tissues, tissues build organs, and that organs build organ systems). Each level is also described/detailed. Examples and roles of cells are provided (nerve, blood, bone), types of tissues are discussed (epithelial, connective, nervous, muscles) as well as specific types of each, a few organ examples are discussed, and all of the 11 organ systems are briefly introduced. There are 112-slides.
    • Circulatory System - There are a total of 57-slides, details the purpose/role and discusses parts of blood, types of vessels, and the heart.
    • Respiratory System - 50 slides, explores the purpose/role, and each organ involved in the respiratory process.
    • Muscular and Skeletal Systems - 80 slides, discusses the purpose/role of each system, three types of muscle tissues.
    • Digestive and Urinary Systems - 46 slides that discuss the purpose/role of each system, and organs involved with each system, as well as their purpose role.
    • Nervous and Integumentary Systems - 54 slides that discuss the main purpose/role of both systems, as well as the parts to the nervous system, three major areas of the brain, etc.

    GUIDED NOTE-TAKING SHEETS

    • Each presentation is accompanied with corresponding handouts with guided-notes. These notes are fill-in-the-blank form, which keeps students engaged, active, and participating. Students are encouraged to follow along.
    • Different presentations/topics have different amounts of notes, but each is designed to take 2-4 days.
    • This is the free, bonus download listed below.
    • Along with the notes, several other activities are included: crossword puzzles, labeling diagrams, etc.
    • 13-pages of content
    • Fully, completely editable!

    CLOZE READING ASSIGNMENTS

    • 5 CLOZE reading passages are included.
    • Each organ system has an associated CLOZE passage and reiterate vocabulary, purposes of each system, and parts involved.
    • CLOZE passages are incredible ways for students to reinforce critical concepts and vocabulary, build reading comprehension and stamina, develop context clues skills, and also expand their language and fluency skills.  CLOZE reads are especially helpful for struggling readers and ESOL students.

    QUIZZES

    • Each organ system also contains a multiple-choice quiz ranging from 20-30 questions.
    • Question depth varies within each quiz. Some are simple, some are more complex.

    Please note:

    • You are still the master teacher! These are resources designed to save you time, energy, and money, but please be creative and use your own expertise as you teach your particular students.
    • This bundle comes with completely editable Flipcharts. If you are not familiar with ActivInspire software, you can download a 30-day free trial or you can check out this bundle I've created which includes PowerPoints instead of Flipcharts.
    • This product does not explore the endocrine or reproductive systems.
    • If you prefer, all of the aforementioned items are available individually in my store as well. Take a look!

I really hope this saves you time and that you find this helpful!
