Description

This is a business letter format template that can be used in almost any subject, for any purpose – assessment, to show understanding, to practice handwriting, writing to a principal, another teacher, a guest speaker, a business– just about anyone or anything!

Includes:

  • Handout with explanation of parts of a business letter with small diagram
  • Large diagram of a business letter
  • Worksheet to map out ideas for a business letter (I use the example of writing a letter to the principal about a change or improvement to the school), and a short checklist for once the letter is finished
  • Planning Sheet with samples and additional column for student practice or preparation
  • Handy Reference Sheet to keep in binder
  • Lined paper for students to compose a rough draft

Enjoy using this with your students!
