    Description

Are you teaching how to writing? Looking for procedure writing crafts? These writing prompts are super cute craftivities for procedural writing. These are ideal for writing lessons and literacy centers for 1st grade and 2nd grade.

    These flip books are featured:

    • How To Make A Pizza
    • How To Make Popcorn
    • How To Make A Burger
    • How To Make A Sundae
    • How To Make Cookies

There are planning pages for each craft (you can choose your preferred planning page – they differ in lines/layout). The crafts are no prep flip books. Students complete 5 easy steps to make each craft (write, cut, color, cut, and glue). Written and visual instructions are included for your students.

Who are these crafts suitable for?

The writing pages have two types of lines (dotted or plain) to choose from. These activities are therefore suitable for students from kindergarten through to 3rd grade.

If your students are proficient writers, simply print extra writing pages. Students can glue as many as they want underneath the pizza, burger, sundae, cookie, or popcorn if they would like to write more.

Why are these how to crafts so amazing?

They are great for literacy lessons, if you want a creative/art element, and excellent for wall displays, door decor, and bulletin boards.

These crafts are engaging for students (especially reluctant writers)!

Many students hate writing lessons. But these topics are so enjoyable for students, what kid doesn't love popcorn, pizza, burgers, cookies, and ice cream?! Your students will have SO much fun during these lessons.

    When/how to use them:

    • Whole group lessons
    • Literacy/writing centers or writer's workshop
    • Independent writing practice
    • Early finishers
    • Morning work
    • Bulletin board/door decor
    • Easy no prep activity for a substitute teacher
    • Assessments for your 'how to' writing unit
