Description

This PowerPoint showcases four common household areas

*Laundry Room

*Kitchen

*Office

*Living Room

These 4 areas are where food can either be prepped/baked/cooked/enjoyed. I have also added the Laundry room, and Office, to practice READING common sight words, as well as ADL activities of cleaning, mixing, pouring, sorting, measuring---the naturally occurring ways to learn vocational/ADL skills through *creating a scene* are ENDLESS!!

Please print off the four household areas, pages 3-6, then, cut and laminate/Velcro the household items to coordinate w/ each page.

Pages 8-11 can be utilized as the *create a scene* areas, utilizing the clip art linked above. This *create a scene* reading product can be created into the following activities: file folder, life skill workbook, worksheet, morning work binder read aloud, independent reading practice, etc.

This resource correlates to the IEP goal of reading cooking and household sight words, and matching the word to the appropriate household scene/ area.

I hope this product makes teaching your students a little easier and a LOT more FUN!
