This Hillary Clinton article and comprehension activities are appropriate for students in 5th grade, 6th grade, and 7th grade. It's an effective way to learn about the former senator and Secretary of State who came the closest as a woman to the presidency of the United States. Students learn about her life, accomplishments and struggles. Students will engage in comprehension activities such as finding text evidence and answering inferential and literal questions. Students will identify character traits and use text evidence to justify their answers. Full answer keys are included.
The article is written on a mid-6th grade level but can be used with younger or older kids as determined by their skill level and support system.
