Here I am in Transitional Kindergarten! - Monthly Name and Drawing Assessment

“Here I am in Transitional Kindergarten” is a monthly name and drawing assessment to be used throughout the year. Each page is labeled with a heading like “Here I am in September” (one for each month) at the top of the page, and then a space to write their name at the bottom of each page, as well as a space to draw a self-portrait. I’ve also included pages for the beginning and end of the year name writing and drawing assessments.

Students write their names and draw a self-portrait each month, every other month, or 3-4 times a year – you choose! A full page of writing lines is included so transitional kindergarten students can write about their illustration as they progress in school.

This can be put into a book form, stapled, and sent home at the end of the school year. It is amazing the amount of growth that will take place from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.

This can also be another assessment tool to share at parent/teacher conferences.

Included:
*Several clip art cover pages to choose from (colored and black and white borders)
*A one-page name assessment where the student will write their name four times a year next to a specific image
*“Here I am” name writing and drawing for all twelve months of the year
*Two choices – one with a school house and one with a box of crayons at the top
*Beginning of the year and end of the year name/drawing assessments
*One full page of writing lines
*A note to parents to model how the student should practice writing their name (not editable – you will write the name on the line correctly)
*Teacher notes

The cover pages have “Transitional Kindergarten” written out. The monthly assessment pages have “TK.”
