Introduce your students to the famous artist Henri Matisse and his artworks! Matisse was a key leader in the art movement 'Fauvism', a group of early 20th-century modern artists whose works emphasized painterly qualities and strong color.
This is a set of 14 posters (A3 + A4 sized) and include a mixture of artwork factsheets and key-catching Matisse-inspired posters. I like to use these as stand-alone posters for the classroom and also as tools for research activities. They also make great lesson starters and work in the virtual classroom too.
Interested in teaching about Fauvism too? Here is my Fauvism activity workbook!
