Hard Skills vs Soft Skills Full Lesson - Includes Slides and Worksheet!

In this activity, students will be taken through a variety of activities to learn more about the difference between hard skills and soft skills and why they are important in the workplace. This activity also comes with a slide show presentation that teachers can use to lead the class through the activity. Alternatively, students could also accomplish all steps on their own if the teacher wanted to use this as a homework assignment or quiet class activity.

I love this activity in my classes. Students are really able to explore what hard skills and soft skills are and why they are important in the workplace. The last step in this activity allows students to search through their skills to find careers related to their interests and skill set.
