Description

This Halloween Reading Comprehension Activity is perfect for you middle school ELA students to celebrate Halloween! In this Halloween activity, your students are using their reading comprehension skills and answering questions, while engaged in a color-by-number activity.

In this activity, students are asked to read a non-fiction article about the history and traditions of Halloween. The students are then asked to answer 24 reading comprehension questions ranging from words in context, recalling information, figurative language, and other reading comprehension skills. Each answer asked the students to color a block on the grid in a certain color. In the end, the grid will reveal the picture of Dracula/vampire.This is an entertaining, engaging way for your students to learn and have fun all at the same time!
