Description

Your students will enjoy this halloween drawing/writing resource! Students will learn simple ways to draw 12 Halloween themed pictures by following step-by-step drawings! There are two versions of each picture (the first version is a draw-only option and the second is a draw and write option) so you can choose how you would like to use them in your classroom.

Version 1: Students draw the picture and then add additional details (i.e., house, tree, moon) to complete their picture. These are great as an art center activity, when students finish their work early or anytime you need a fun sheet in the weeks leading up to Halloween!

Version 2: Students draw the picture and then write about it. This version is great for independent writing time and literacy centers!

PLEASE NOTE: An extra lined writing page has been included at the end of the packet. This page can be printed on the back of either version to help you meet your needs! Also, due to it being early in the year, this packet is not recommended for kindergarten.

*For best picture results, students should use pencils or crayons. Markers are not recommended.

The skills included in this packet are:

• Use shapes to make other objects

• Follow directions

• Attention to detail

• Write sentences

The 12 pictures included are:

• bat

• spider

• jack-o’-lantern

• Frankenstein

• vampire

• friendly monster

• cat

• scarecrow

• candy

• rat

• cauldron

• spooky house
