What educators are saying

This was so much fun. I loved reading the stories my students created. The starter made it easier for the students to narrow down their topic, but still gave them creative range.
These were fun to make and hear the kids different reasons for the teachers. They turned out great! Thank you!

A PDF file of:

  • Brainstorm Pages - This is to help your students work through their ideas for any of the 4 writing prompts provided. I find that using a brainstorm activity like this first helps students come up with much better and unique ideas! Brainstorm pages with and without prompts are included!
  • Practice Sentence Sheets - From the brainstorm I move to the practice sentences worksheet. This helps students go from one or two words to forming complete sentences with correct spelling and punctuation.
  • Final Draft Writing Pages - The following prompts are included:
"If my teacher turned into a witch"
"If my teacher turned into Frankenstein"
"If my principal turned into a witch"
"If my principal turned into Frankenstein"
  • Once students' practice sentences look good, they can transfer those sentences onto their final draft paper. I've included regular and primary lined paper to match your students' needs. There's also a choice between portrait and landscape page options for each prompt.
  • Writing Toppers - Choose from witch or Frankenstein writing craft toppers! Students color these, then cut them out. Feet/shoes for each are also included to attach below their final draft pages.
