Description

Students will be filling out a double sided brochure as they read the novel or may to choose to fill it out after reading is completed. This brochure is a fun and different way to gather information from the text. The brochure includes 10 vocabulary words taken from the book along with a vocabulary word that your students may choose to include. Students are asked to write a definition and sketch an image of what the word would look like. Students are also asked to reflect on what loyalty means and who is loyal to them. There are a few questions asking students to use the text to answer the questions. There are also questions that ask the class to discuss and reflect. The brochure format meets several standards and is a finished project kids can be proud of.
