Description
Perfect for high school speech and language therapy! These 45 seasonally appropriate units address so many language goals in an easy to copy format. Each is divided into 5 timely themes per month and provide 2 in-depth learning pages and answer keys for each theme. I have been using these worksheets for 2 years with my own students and they are VERY well received by middle and high school students. These worksheets focus on semantic and syntactic skills that many of our students lack and that are required to pass standardized assessments. Each unit addresses synonyms, antonyms, multiple meaning words, definitions, analogies, categorization, comparing and contrasting, idioms, word ordering, grammatical editing, and combining sentences (phew) all while incorporating interesting facts about the topic. Answer keys are provided.
Digital Tool Compatibility: This resource can be adapted to be sent via Google Classroom. The TpT Digital Tool will allow you to select specific pages to assign to your students through Google Classroom. It will also allow students to circle the correct answer with the pen or highlighter tool or type in their answers and submit the work to you.
