What educators are saying

My students loved this and were so engaged the entire period! I used it on the first day of class with my first year class and it took me the entire hour. Great product. Thank you!

Description

I created this Power Point activity for the very first day of class, as an introduction to France and a fun and informal way to check what my students already know about France and its culture. It is designed for beginner students who have never taken French before OR as a review for more advanced students.

Each slide offers a multiple choice question. It then gives the answer along with an explanation. It also includes lots of pictures and You Tube links to videos pertaining to the question.

Topics included:

- France and its geography, history, economic and political system

- Other francophone countries in the world

- Typical foods from France

- Famous people from France

- Stereotypes about France

This is a perfect 1st day of the year activity or simply a fun activity to do on a free day!
