HINKITY PINKITIES II are riddles that help children learn to problem solve while exercising vocabulary skills (definitions, synonyms, parts of speech, rimes, ...). These printable task cards prompt your students to interpret data, make inferences, draw conclusions, and analyze new information. Hinkity Pinkity riddles are terrific for centers, enrichment, differentiation, bell ringers, sponge activities, and GATE. But the BEST part is your kiddos will beg to do them every day! • Hinkity Pinkity clues seek a 2 word answer.
  • Each answer word must have three syllables.
  • The 2 words must rhyme.
    • Example
      • Clue: site of the holiday trip
      • Answer: vacation location

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT

• Place an appropriate number of cards at a literacy center.

• Post several clues each day and train your students to use them as an anchor activity.
