Description

1) Demonstrate one solid cross sections as a mini lesson. For example do cylinder exploration on smartboard using Geogebra and ask students to record 2D shapes of the cross sections. (5 min)

2) Ask students to explore the rest of 3D shapes in their groups. Different groups explore different 3D solids. (15 min)

3) One presenter from each group comes to the smartboard to share out their group findings with demonstration of each cross section found. (up to 20 min)
