Groundhog Day Activities | Craft Headband | Making Predictions | Writing K - 1

This fun Groundhog Day resource was created to allow younger students to make predictions and explain their thoughts about this famous weather day.

It was an attempt to create a few ways to differentiate the Groundhog crafts to give you choice to see what might fit the needs of your students OR to choose writing frames to match student needs within your classroom.

Here is what is included:

• Images to trace or copy as needed for your class.
• Writing Frame for children to decide if they would want the Ground to see or not see his shadow and why or make predications. One sheet is easier and the other harder.
• It includes everything you need to make the groundhog craft and writing. The groundhog head craft can be used to display the writing sheets OR can be created into a headband.
• I also have tracers or images for eyes, but Google eyes can also be used.
• 2 coloring pages are added to correctly choose whether there will be 6 More Weeks of Winter or Here Comes Spring!
• There are similar pages that can be used for a headband to display the correct groundhog weather prediction.
