What educators are saying

This handout was very popular with my high schoolers! It was part of my free choice handout for my early finishers.

Description

This worksheet is an excellent way for students of all ages, though it was geared towards high school students, to practice transferring an image using the grid technique. On the worksheet is a smaller grid that is labelled A-H and 1-10. The directions as for them to use the smaller grid on the left and to go square by square to transfer the image of the Minion. There is also a large blank practice square to help them get used to the technique if they are having trouble.

I used this worksheet as a practice before starting a Value project where the students had to transfer an image by shading in each space of a corresponding photo to match the original image. I focused my lesson, after having taught Value and Texture on different ways of transferring an image. You can find this corresponding PowerPoint presentation available in my shop in English and with English and Spanish translations. This worksheet is also available in Spanish.
