What educators are saying

Great presentation! I actually used this with my assisted living residents. Great pictures and great information! Very informative but to the point so they can understand it. Thank you!

Description

This power point is designed to provide the background information necessary to understand how Greek myths developed and who the first key characters were. The slides give a short description, with colorful graphics to support the points being made. Graphics are artistic interpretations of the various Greek characters.

The presentation starts by explaining what a myth is, where modern Greece is, and why the stories originated. Then, the beginning of the universe through Greek stories is explained - “chaos,” the creation of Mother Earth, the marriage of Uranus, the birth of the titans, and how the Olympians came to be. This presentation serves as a springboard to all other Greek myths you will cover in class. There are two formats provided (Power Point and Google Slides). Google slides include an editable version for personalizing text (pictures cannot be moved per copyright).
