Description

This is a 190 day electronic gratitude journal for you to use throughout the school year. Need more days? Just duplicate and add more slides. I have used this each morning for the past 5 years to start my morning and my students morning with a positive.

Gratitude journaling is the habit of recording and reflecting on things (typically three) that you are grateful for on a regular basis. In essence, you are rewiring your brain to focus more on the positive aspects of your life and build up resilience against negative situations. Studies suggest that writing in a gratitude journal three times per week might actually have a greater impact on our happiness than journaling every day.

Be as specific as possible—specificity is key to fostering gratitude. Elaborating in detail about a particular person or thing for which you’re grateful carries more benefits than a superficial list of many things. Focusing on people to whom you are grateful has more of an impact than focusing on things for which you are grateful.
