What educators are saying

Great resource! Will definitely use it again next year! I had my students chose their favorite to win the superbowl, and we hung them up in the hallway!
This was an awesome activity. I used it during homecoming week, when the students are wound up from all the festivities.

    Description

This coordinate graphing bundle includes the following graphs, which provide students with practice graphing in all 4 quadrants of the coordinate plane:

These activities provide students with practice graphing in all four quadrants on the coordinate plane. For most graphs, the coordinates include positive & negative, whole & half numbers (example: (6, -2.5)). Please note: There are a lot of coordinates that include 0.5! It's great for "early finishers" or can be used as an extra credit assignment. This, along with my other coordinate graphs provide a great opportunity for a fun & festive rotating bulletin board in your math classroom.

Note: Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburg Steelers, Green Bay Packers, and Baltimore Ravens all include poster versions created by graphing unique graphs and pasting them together. This set of coordinates include INTEGERS, only.

Use a pair of perpendicular number lines, called axes, to define a coordinate system, with the intersection of the lines (the origin) arranged to coincide with the 0 on each line and a given point in the plane located by using an ordered pair of numbers, called its coordinates. Understand that the first number indicates how far to travel from the origin in the direction of one axis, and the second number indicates how far to travel in the direction of the second axis, with the convention that the names of the two axes and the coordinates correspond (e.g., 𝘹-axis and 𝘹-coordinate, 𝘺-axis and 𝘺-coordinate).
Understand a rational number as a point on the number line. Extend number line diagrams and coordinate axes familiar from previous grades to represent points on the line and in the plane with negative number coordinates.
Find and position integers and other rational numbers on a horizontal or vertical number line diagram; find and position pairs of integers and other rational numbers on a coordinate plane.
