My students in 1st grade loved this activity. I used this last year on Valentines Day instead of having a party.
Students love anytime they get to "play" with food. They love to be able to do their project and then eaat their treat at the end. The students were engaged and loved graphing.
Description
This graphing bundle will help make teaching graphing a lot more delicious!
This bundle includes sorting pages and graphing/recording pages for the following snacks:
M&M’s, Fruit Loops, Skittles, Colorful Goldfish, and jellybeans!
I have included 5 and 6 color jellybean options that are editable. Select the page with either 5 or 6 beans and then click on the textbox that says “color” on the pages to enter the jellybean colors that your class will be graphing.
Also included is a classic color Skittles graph and sort as well as a version that you can customize with the colors you have for your class to sort. (There are so many flavors/types of Skittles these days!)
I have seen 2 different versions of the colorful Goldfish crackers so I have included pages for red, green, orange, and yellow goldfish and also red, green, orange, and purple. If you have another color combo of goldfish, let me know and I'll be happy to add it to the bundle!
