Description
Utilized in my Graphic Design course, this unit exposes students to graphic design concepts including lines, shapes, texture, and color through business cards, and other promotional products.
Standards:
- Shape an artistic investigation of an aspect of presentday life using a contemporary practice of art or design.
- Engage in making a work of art or design without having a preconceived plan.
- Demonstrate works of art or design how visual and material culture defines, shapes, enhances, inhibits, and/or empowers people's lives.
Currently set up for a class that meets for 90 minutes every-other school day, and we utilize Schoology for completing assignments. I had several EL students in my class that only spoke and read Spanish. You will notice that many of the assignments have been translated :)
