Description

The aim of this Jeopardy Game is to test the students' Grammar and Punctuation Skills in five categories. There are 20 questions in 5 groups. Each group has 4 questions.

The five categories are:

  1. Quotations
  2. Spelling
  3. Capitalization
  4. Punctuation
  5. Grammar

The class will be divided into 5 groups. Each group has an opportunity to answer 4 questions that have different values of 100, 200, 300, and 400 points. (1 question per round)

Each round, the groups will answer a question. If they answer correctly, they will get the points. If not, they won't get any points. In the end, the groups with more points will win.

This Jeopardy game is designed to test the students' knowledge of Grammar and Punctuation Skills. The game is recommended for all levels and was designed to improve your students' grammar and writing skills.

The best way to teach your students any topic is through games.

It is an important and interesting game, and your students will love testing their knowledge in the above categories. The answers are provided.

Instructions to play the game:

  1. Pick a category and a point value.
  2. Click on the chosen box for the question.
  3. Press “ENTER” to display the question. Students must give the answer before clicking “ENTER” again on the slide to check the correct answer and check it. The teacher may want to set a time limit for answering the question.
  4. Click on “ENTER” to reveal the answer.
  5. Click on the "Home Icon" at the bottom of the page to return to the menu.
  6. Continue until all the questions are answered.

The team with the most points wins.

4. A question related to the Punctuation category is:

What punctuation needs to be added to the following sentence?
The bald eagle a symbol of our nation’s strength is an endangered animal

Answer: The bald eagle, a symbol of our nation’s strength, is an endangered animal.

5. A question related to the Grammar category is:

Correct the word usage mistake in the underlined phrase.

I told him, but he won’t do nothing about it.

Answer: but he won’t do anything
