The purpose of this unit is to enable students to create, interpret, and explore a variety of dramatic art forms, in meaningful and engaging ways. These are tried and true lessons that keep students hooked, with a focus on the Elements of Drama, community building, improvisation, role play, choral speaking, soundscapes, movement, and tableaux.
Assessment Opportunities:
Multiple opportunities for assessment are embedded in the unit, as well as a final culminating task. This package is aligned with the current Ontario Curriculum expectations for Intermediate Drama. A full unit plan is included in this package, as well as links to cross-curricular expectations.
