These 4 units rest entirely upon on a critical thinking framework by providing students with real-life relatable word problems. The overarching goal of these units is to help students develop confidence, cope with challenges and think critically. These objectives reflect the goals of the new Ontario Math Curriculum by focusing on a commitment to skill-building and helping students see themselves as capable and confident math learners. Throughout the unit, students will build strong social-emotional learning skills and foundational knowledge and insight measurement.
