Grade 5 Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) - Links to free OER Lessons

This document contains all of the information found in the Next Generation Science Standards for 5th grade. It also has links to science content for the individual standards - for your grade level and freely available on OER. The links (organized by individual standard) come from the National Science Teachers' website, PBS, etc. - credible links. You can use these links to teach science concepts until science materials become available. The links contain highly engaging lessons, videos, etc., that can be used immediately.

At the end of the document you will find a standards' map that places all the standards in an easily read format. The map contains the standards, core ideas, crosscutting concepts, information about assessment, etc.
