Student Learning Intentions:
The purpose of this unit is to enable students to create, interpret, and explore a variety of dance forms, in meaningful and engaging ways. These are tried and true lessons that keep ALL students engaged, with content from Social Media, relevant Influencers, Tik Tok, and Dance Shows such as World of Dance and So You Think You Can Dance.
Assessment Opportunities:
Multiple opportunities for assessment are embedded in the unit, as well as a final culminating task. This package is aligned with the current Ontario Curriculum expectations for Junior Dance.
