Description FRONT OF PROFICIENCY SCALES:
The front page of each Proficiency Scale takes each student through the progression of the standard. See below for detailed information:
- Level 4 is equivalent to the 5th grade level of the standard (Above Grade Level)
- Level 3 is equivalent to the 4th grade level of the standard (On Grade Level)
- Level 2 is equivalent to the 3rd grade level of the standard
- (Below Grade Level)
- Level 1 is equivalent to the 2nd grade level of the standard (Substantially Below Grade Level)
Students can write their initial attempt on an assessment and second attempt after reteaching or intervention.
Key vocabulary is pulled from each standard and emphasized on the right of each level.
When you have completed a standard, there is a space at the bottom of the page for your students to evaluate and reflect on their final understanding of the standard.
Description BACK OF PROFICIENCY SCALES:
The back page of each Proficiency Scale allows space for each student to write their daily objective aligning to their particular level within the standard.
Every day your students can evaluate their understanding of the daily objective and effort level towards mastery of the daily objective.
Convenient scale at the bottom of the page for each student to reference that uses student friendly language.

- Google Sheet with 3 Tabs- One for each FSA Domain- Key Idea and Details, Craft and Structure, and Integration of Knowledge
- Each tab includes columns for student name, teacher, prior year FSA percentage, current fluency levels, STAR domain percentages, areas for Assessment names, dates.
- Rows automatically average student percentages per artifact collected for each standard giving an overall domain average.
