Description

This small group reader's theater is for 3 students. In the script Goldilocks is a delinquent who broke into the three bears home. The police have arrested her with mama bear's jewelry in her pocket and are trying to get her to confess. I use reader's theaters to encourage my students to practice fluency. It is a fun way to do something that they need.

My scripts are in black and white will very little cutesy stuff so they are easier and cheaper to photo copy and not distract the readers. The only way reader's theaters work is when they have smaller parts. This allows the reader's to get more practice in without a lot of wait time. As you know, wait time for many students is off task time which leads to behavior issues.

My name is Melanie Whitesides but my store name is Wonbyone. I have a regular version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears so, if you want, you could buy both and do a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast them! If you enjoy this script, look for other twisted fairy tales at my site. You can even save money by buying them in packs! I hope that your students enjoy this script as much as mine did. Let me know how things go!
