Description

These are checklists I made and use almost daily for gold data collection. This includes check list for A,B,C,D, and E if the objective has it. I have taught gold for 3 years

• Each objective checklist is 2 pages and has room for 20 students’ names on

the left side.

• The objective is also listed at the top for easy reference.

• Level category - On the left side next to the names is a category labeled level

so that you can easily see all the students’ levels in a list and enter them into

the gold website.

• Easy and fast to level each student for each objective and sub objective (

B,C,D,and E). Seeing all the information listed on the check list makes it so I

can easily give each student a level there on the spot just after taking notes.

• This is a word document for easy editing

The information listed at the top of check list helps me with leveling on the spot because it also has a sub level attracted to it just like in the objectives examples/explanations in the book. Most of this information I got from meetings with handouts and conversations about the objectives at school. I taught at a Pre-K school with when they first started using gold, so we had many meetings and conversations about it. The rest of the information I got from teaching, reading and talking to other teachers about the objectives. I did this as a guide that can easily be looked at while taking data and to become more familiar with the objectives individual.

You will have to write small to get the information on the page, but this will help you stay up to date on objective collection, make sure no one is left out, and prevents you from writing too much.

Sometimes I number the things at the top of the checklist and then list the numbers in the boxes by the students’ names. Some of the objectives have things listed that can either be circled or crossed off. I did this to prevent writing the same thing over and over and to make those easy objectives even easier by being faster to complete. The check list also lets you stop and start data collection easy because your notes are all organized in once place. I tried the recommended posted notes and it drove me crazy.

I do not own or have anything rights to the objectives listed in my check lists they are owned by gold teaching strategies.
