Description
These animal print alphabet cards go perfect with any jungle classroom decor while giving your students a good reference for letter formation and alphabet sounds. Most of the cards show at least one animal on the page. However, some of the letters have animals that are not as well known to children (such as the letter U) for these letters other images are used.
Each letter prints on an 8.5 x 11 page with a white border that can be trimmed if desired. There are 2 pictures one each page for every letter.
Vowels (a, e, i, o, u) have 2 different pages. One page shows the letter with a picture beginning with a long vowel and a short vowel sound (a shows acorn and alligator). The other page shows the letter with 2 pictures beginning with 2 pictures that both have a short sound (a shows apple and alligator).
The letter 'x' also has two pages. One shows the letter x with the words and pictures for a fox and the number six since these words have the 'x' sound at the end of the word. The other page shows the letter x with the pictures of a xylophone for the alternate sound and a fox.
I have added an additional page for Q. One shows a quarter and a queen. The other shows a question mark and a queen for my non-US friends.
