Get to Know those Numbers! ~ A Class Math Activity Display ~ FREE!

I use this activity at the beginning of the school year as a way for students to explore numbers and then share what they have created with others. We display the number posters in our classroom, then later make them into a book. We have done this activity as a single classroom and as a whole grade level activity. Encourage students to be creative in their displays! I have included teacher notes, student directions and poster for the numbers 1-100, feel free to just print the ones you will use. You can also work on all of the numbers as the year progresses, by doing one poster per day as a class. You can also shrink each number down to place them into student math journals for students to complete individually as a math warm-up.
