    Description

Included in this bundle, you will get access to worksheet packets about 7 different genres of music. The genres included in this bundle are: Rock and Roll, Classical, Country, Pop, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Opera. If you buy this bundle, I also included 4 FREE color-by-note pages for your early finishers!

Easy Sub Plans or no prep activities for general music grades 4-6. With this packet, the students will read a brief passage about each genre, answer 5 short answer questions, and complete 10 multiple choice questions. In addition to those worksheets, there is 2 page of music response questions for students to listen and reflect on music. The answer guides are included.

3 of the genre packets (Opera, Country, and Pop) include lyric analysis pages where students will listen to a song and analyze the lyrics.

The classical music packet includes vocabulary definitions and a matching section to quiz students on their vocab.

My genre packets are great for exploring different types of music!

These activities require no music prior knowledge, everything the students need is in the packet. I even included listening examples that go along with the lesson for the music response questions. All the students need is the packet and a pencil!

    Great for non-music subs!
