What educators are saying
This was a great way to engage my students in genius hour! The worksheets were great for guiding my students through the project and I appreciated the daily reflection sheets.
I used this in my Reading Class, to break up direct instruction time and allow the kids time to do something they love, it worked so well and it's super engaging!
Description
Can you imagine a classroom where students were the teachers? Where each child was completely engaged in their own inquiry questions? Genius Hour, based on Google's 20% policy, gives students to work on their own Passion Projects, exploring and investigating topics that fascinate them. One of my favorite quotes on education is, "It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge," Albert Einstein. Passion Projects do just that: they involve students in learning in a meaningful, exciting, authentic way.
