This 23-slide PowerPoint presentation covers generations and eras from prehistory to Alpha Generation. More than 250 images enhance the text in a dynamic timeline sequence.

Generations and eras includes prehistory, ancient history, post classical, early modern period, later modern period, Victorian (Victorianism), Romantics (Romanticism), Modern (Modernist, Modernism), the lost generation, the Roaring '20s (Roarin' '20s), the Harlem Renaissance, the Depressionists (Great Depression), the World War II Generation (the Greatest Generation), the Silent Generation, the Baby Boomers, Generation X (Gen X), Generation Y (Gen Y, Millennials, Gen Y2K), Generation Z (Gen Z), and Alpha Generation, along with Postmodernism and Post Postmodernism.

Significant events include the birth and death of Queen Victoria, the sinking of the Titanic, World War I, the Great Depression, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, war protests, the Cold War, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Gulf War, the rise in technology, the September 11, 2001 (9/11) terrorist attacks, the War in Iraq, the Afghanistan War, the rise in personal technology and social media, and views of the future.

More than 250 photos, two poems (Tennyson's "Charge of the Light Brigade" and Owen's "Dulce et decorum est . . .), four plot diagrams (Victorian, Modernist, Postmodernist, and Post Postmodernist), and a comprehensive chart of the generations and eras enhance the presentation. Additionally, Common Core goals are included.
