What educators are saying

Great visual and model for my 6th graders! They used this during their order of operations assessment as a guide.

Description

These 6th - 7th grade math notes / anchor charts are perfect for teaching students about numerical expressions using GEMDAS and PEMDAS. These no prep pages would be great for math lessons. Your sixth or seventh grade students will love this visual tool to help them master this standard!

Included in this set:

  • Notes page using the GEMDAS acronym
  • Notes pages using the PEMDAS acronym

This set has 2 pages total.

I created this resource for students after seeing them struggle with note taking and the time I spent trying to teach note taking. I was also tired of hand-drawing anchor charts.

Some ideas for utilizing these anchor charts/notes

  • Print them for student notebooks
  • Display mini anchor charts on student tables using a binder system or using a picture frame (I use a 5x7 frame with the glass removed. I use binder rings so students have access to all anchor charts!)

Please check out my other listings for other notes and resources!
