I loved this project…it took some time for the students to reframe their communication to use the futur proche. I should have done some shared writing with the class to help them with that rather than mini-lessons after the project was assigned.

Qu'est-ce qu'on va faire ce weekend?
What are we doing this weekend is the premise of this project.
Students will plan a weekend with their friend, including itinerary for vendredi soir, samedi, samedi soir et dimanche. They will then write texts back and forth to converse about the weekend using the FUTUR PROCHE.
This includes a planning sheet, rubric, rough copy sheet and success criteria.
