    Description

    6 units worth of grade 5-7 debate / discussion activities, perfect for developing collaboration and critical thinking skills all year long, bundled at 10% off! Designed with MYP in mind but appropriate for any middle school, high school, international, or homeschool STEM curriculum.

    In each activity, students take on one of 5 character roles or scenarios to debate and discuss controversial topics. In the process, they will explore a variety of scientific and interdisciplinary concepts. Print and share or use the included slides for a paperless digital experience. Can be used as a formative assessment to check for understanding or as a summative assessment using the included MYP rubrics (criteria A and D).

    Covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics topics, these debate / discussion activities can be used as a way to consolidate learning or introduce a new topic. They also make great formative assessments aligned with MYP content and learning objectives!
