Description

In this lesson, your students will learn about the life and work of Frida Kahlo, and how her unique style and powerful self-portraits have inspired generations of artists. We'll discuss Kahlo's background, her struggles and triumphs, and how she used her art to express her emotions and experiences. This lesson is perfect for 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades.

But that's not all - we'll also guide your students through a directed line drawing activity, where they'll have the opportunity to create their own Frida self portrait using simple lines and shapes. Even if you're not an experienced art teacher, this easy-to-follow lesson plan will make it a breeze to lead your students through this fun and engaging art activity.
