French Time | Quelle heure est-il? | Dice Games | Lancez le dé

Using dice games to learn to tell time in your French classroom can be so fun! Quelle heure est-il, you ask? The students roll the dice and answer the question either orally or in writing.

This activity includes 4 different dice that the students can use, as well as a blank die template. The first two dice are regular dice with six sides. On the first die, students write the time in an analog format before they cut it out and glue it together. In the second die, students pick a time of their choice, draw the hands on the clock to represent that time and then cut it out and glue it together. The other 2 dice are 12-sided dice. One die contains hours. The second one contains minutes (5 minutes or 10 minutes, only). Lastly, there is a 12-sided die with blank clocks so students can draw their own time onto the clocks, cut it out and glue it together. I have also included 1 worksheet for each set of dice (6-sided and 12-sided). You can use the worksheets or create your own activity with this fun set of dice.
