French Oral Assessment Activity | Communication à l'oral

This emergent reader can be used an assessment with beginner French students to test their speaking, reading and comprehension skills. This assessment comes with 10 slides and each slide shows a student a different fruit and asks them to say the colour(s) that the fruit is/are. It can be used on your online learning platform (Microsoft Teams, Google Meets, Zoom) by using the screen share function or for in-class learning by projecting it onto your whiteboard/projector screen

I use this assessment in my grade 1 French Immersion class after I have taught students about healthy foods and fruits. I project it onto my whiteboard and also use it on my online learning platform using the screen share function. It can also be used in small group assessments or at the beginning of grade 2 or 3 French Immersion to assess what level your students are at.
