Description
This French Fashion Show Project (défilé de mode) is an amazing way to gauge how well your students have learned French clothing/accessories vocabulary (les vêtements et les accessoires) as well as grammar structures from your French Clothing Unit (such as porter, mettre, les couleurs, BAGS adjectives, etc.).
This is an exciting project/presentation in which students design their own outfit, write a descriptive paragraph about it, and model in a fashion show while their partner commentates.
Students absolutely ADORE this project, and it is honestly one of my favorite French 1 activities. I love seeing what kinds of crazy and wacky costumes they come up with, and the day of the Fashion Show is always a highlight of the school year (for both me and for the students!). I'm so excited for you to try this project in your French class!
