Description

The Frayer Model is a graphic organizer used for vocabulary that goes beyond rote definition tasks. It’s a four-square graphic organizer that has students put the vocabulary into context.
1. Definition
2. Examples
3. Illustration
4. Non-examples

Frayer models allow understanding vocabulary in a larger context than reading out of a book or any other source. Students analyze, synthesize and apply the vocabulary to everyday life.

This editable PowerPoint can be used for the new NGSS standards in grades 3, 4, 5, 8 and high school. Newtons Laws can be very abstract and difficult to understand, so I've included some YouTube links to help put content into context.
